Your Role: As a Flex/Float Teacher, you will support Apprentice and Mentor teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education, in alignment with our mission and vision. Flex teachers may be asked to substitute for another teacher as needed, as well as perform simple cleaning and food preparation. Flex teachers may be asked to substitute at other sites on occasion.

What You’ll Need – The Must-Haves:

Be age 16 or older
Be able to pass all required background checks and criminal history review
Meet LARA licensing education requirements appropriate to the assigned role
Be able to be “on your feet” for most of the day
Hold, carry, or lift to 25 pounds
Work outside in all weather conditions
